About

Animals, just like human survivors of abuse, need your love and support. Ruth, a black and white quadriplegic cat, and Idgie, a 2-year-old dachshund, are the most unlikely pair of friends but can’t stand to be apart. After being found dumped on the side of a Florida road in October, they have found a new home together with Jackie Borum at Hollywood Houndz. Idgie is Ruth’s steadfast guardian even when the times get tough, which for a quadriplegic cat it is every single day.

You can support Ruth and Idgie by donating to one of their favorite charities, Project Paws.
